Descripción
It all begins when the writer receives a package with no sender and no letter. They are loose papers, drawings and notebooks with notes. Not finding any possibility of confrontation and dialogue, the writer decides to order the fragments visibly saved from the bonfire and composes a work respecting the writings of someone who tells one and several stories. The fragments take the form of one or several confessions, which can be interpreted as the author’s self-criticism of these loose writings. Decker-Molina presents The Echo of screams (El eco de los gritos) as a literary work where she mixes fiction with history. Someone said: ”It is the other face of revolutionary heroism”.
REVIEWS:
Understanding the deepest conflicts that have so permeated Latin America and its people (understanding the processes and then capturing them in a book), make this novel an indispensable work for Latinos.

THE ECHO OF SCREANMS is an excellent book that portrays the other side of the ”heroic guerrilla” medal.
